From the error It looks like there is a conflict with the version of Windows SDK, Can you please try going to vscode settings and see if there is any specific windows SDK version specified? Yes roshanrajadhikari , Can you please check if you have any version specified there. Please refer to the steps above for navigating to these settings.

It seems like problem is on the visual studio part. Can't really point out where, but seems like while compiling for windows app, compiler is looking for windows sdk in different location? Labeling this issue for further investigation from the team. Got info from some other sites that removing registry apparently related to location of SDK might solve this problem but I am unsure of this.

Did anyone find any solution or workaround? I cannot run my application at all. I tried to remove Visual Studio and reinstalled. And I still have the issue. Select one of the properties, such as Include Directories. The Include Directories dialog appears. Repeat the retargeting procedure for other solution projects, as needed, and rebuild the solution.
